They are comprised of overhead and underground conducting lines of either copper or aluminium. In NZ these High Voltage (HV) transmission lines operate at kiloVoltages (kV) of 33 , 66, 110, 220 AC and 350 DC. (Transmission Line is not a topological network.) (Spans are a sub-set of the Transmission Lines data set. Spans record the structure from / to and the length between the structures).
